Winter? What Winter? Thursday, Dec 29 2005

The last few days have been so incredibly beautiful down here.  Perfect weather for rolling down the window, cranking up the music and singing at the top of my lungs.  Makes me kinda sad I only have a four minute commute.

A Coke Tradition? Tuesday, Dec 20 2005

Apparently, Coca-Cola is putting on some kind of Christmas event tonight. I’m not entirely sure what it’s going to be, but we’ve managed to arrange an invitation, despite the fact that it’s intended for the people in the trailer “park” they have set up on the factory grounds. I had thought that the trailers were for Coke employees, but I could be wrong. Maybe I’ll ask around and see if any trailers are available… :)

As for my epiphany… I’m afraid our Grandpappy is right. It had something to do with rebuilding and “what really matters”, but I’m afraid that it is lost in the mist of my brain…

Well, I just got a ticket to the “jumping wild frog show”, as performed by my son. The show is starting “right now.” The bed sounds like it’s about to fall apart, so maybe I should go stop him.

Merry Christmas, all!

That Which Stands Sunday, Dec 11 2005

Go ahead, psyhcoanalyze all my posts…

I had the incredible experience this evening of attending a few art openings in the arts district of New Orleans today. I’ve been to one before, and I’ll go to one today, but I know nothing will ever match the experiences and images I have experienced tonight.

Augh! Well, that just takes the cake… I had an “epiphany” moment, wrote two more paragraohs, and I fat fingered it and lost all my work.

Summary: Things are incredibly, undescribly awesome in my head, despite the craziness around me.
