Z is going to be a published poet!  He wrote a diamond poem in his GT class.  For those of you who don’t know what a diamond poem is, here’s the pattern.

Noun 1
Two adjectives describing Noun 1
Three verbs that Noun 1 does
Two nouns related to Noun 1, Two nouns related to Noun 2
Three verbs that Noun 2 does
Two adjectives describing Noun 2
Noun 2

Noun 1 and 2 should be very different things.  In this case, Noun 1 is Lion and Noun 2 is Dog.  Here is the poem:

Lion
Big, yellow
Running, chasing, biting
Jungle, Africa, bone, stick
Jumping, playing, fetching
Small, brown
Dog
